Incorporating strength training exercises a few times a week can also boost metabolism and enhance muscle tone. For this, use lighter weights with more reps.

Using the High-Intensity-Interval-Training method (HIIT) is very effective. This consists of short bursts of intense exercise, typically from 1-4 minutes, then a quick rest period in between.

Also, this has been shown to burn 25-30% more calories than other forms ofexercise and will continue to burn calories long after your workout is done.
